More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I am passionate about many things, but I care very much about people. I choose my profession because I wanted to care for people the way that nurses and doctors had cared for me when I came into hospitals for broken bones and other injuries. I have a great deal of empathy for what my patients are going through. And I hate it when sometimes there's nothing I can do to help them.

I typically spend my leisure time

It depends on the weather outside. I like to walk through the park or go for a hike. But if it's raining I enjoy a good book or movie. Every now and then it's nice to just lounge around the house.

The most influential person in my life has been

I'm looking for someone that shares my Christian faith most importantly. But I want someone who's going to be my best friend throughout life. Someone that makes me laugh and smile, picks me up when I'm sad, calms me down when I'm upset, etc and vis versa. A man that inspires me to be better.

The first thing people notice about me

My smile. My coaches, friends, and family tell me that I have a beautiful smile that could light up the world. I'm also covered in freckles, and the more time I spend in the sun, the more I'll get.

The last book I read and enjoyed

My small group has been reading Counter Culture, but I have just passed my national exam to be a registered nurse. I am beyond excited and so blessed that God has got me through this trial. I can't wait to read some books, that aren't nursing textbooks, for once.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. I'm thankful for my family and friends.
  2. I'm thankful for my job.
  3. I'm thankful for new opportunities.
