More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I have many interests.....walking, hiking, camping, fishing, gardening, building things out of wood or stone, indoors I enjoy dancing, movies, games, music, art. Everything I do has a spiritual connection. I believe that Jesus Christ is the creator and sustainer of all matter of the universe. I have placed him as the center of my life, and all of my varied interests orbit around Him. I enjoy ministering to the disadvantaged. I have a world vision on God's work....strive to live minimally and give maximally.

I typically spend my leisure time

Staying in good shape and staying healthy are both very important to me. I like to eat healthy and I like to play tennis, walk, and ride a mountain bike. I like to read, mainly history, inspirational, self helps. I stay involved in various christian ministry events and local service projects.

The most influential person in my life has been

The 1st thing Im looking for is a PIC of you smiling. . I like free thinkers. I like creative people. I need someone who understands how impossible it is for us to fill the void that is within each other. The "void" being the place in ourselves that is filled only by the greatest lover of our souls, Jesus Christ. I like people who take the church outside of the walls. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us to be careful how much to lean on our own understanding. Where do you lean when you seek understanding? If you are born once, you will die twice! If you are born twice, you will only die once! You must be born again!!!!!

The first thing people notice about me

Im in good shape. I have a lot of energy, but I take a nap every day. Lol

The last book I read and enjoyed

They Dropped Fire On Us From The Sky. Book about the lost boys of Sudan. The Treasure Principle, by Randy Alcorn. My Utmost for His Highest....daily devotional. This Present Darkness.....Frank Paretti, Non-profits for " Dummies." , Intimate Allies ( I want to be ready if Love comes around again!)

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Good Family
  2. Grace of God
  3. America

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

You will often see me on a trail, sometimes with a pack on. I like to train at Ft Worth Nature Preserve and Cedar Ridge Preserve for hikes at Big Bend, Grand Canyon, Guadalupe Peak, etc. Like hiking in Eastern Oklahoma also. I enjoy taking youth out to mentor them on hikes and camping.
