What&#039;s your take on why people stick it out?  what about the consequences of getting out of a bad situation are so painful vs. sticking in it?

I mean, generally, we tend to avoid loss rather than risk gain. (Sit in a bad job because its there, versus strike out with uncertainty... staying at a college you hate...)

 Is sticking it out in a marriage an instance of that approach?</description>
