Love is more than a feeling. Love is an act. I agree with Cj that is caring about someone else's happiness more than your own. Love seeks to understand. When I read I Corinthians 13, I realize that my love is not perfect. If my love were perfect, I would have no fear. Perfect love casts out fear. I think we are all a work in progress and we grow in love as we make it a decision because sooner or later the highs of a relationship wear off. We act out of love and the feelings will follow.
