I am a very angry person. I find that in my daily activities I experience a chronic anger towards the world. Even when I am at peace and content it only takes a small inconvenience or frustration to send me spiraling down into hours of anger.
My question is regarding long distance relationships. How much time should you spend with someone "in person" before deciding to relocate? We are very attracted to each other and feel we are compatible, but how do you relocate across the country for a "maybe"?
Is it foolish for me to continue dating a man who is still seeing another woman? He has been completely honest about his involvement with both of us. We have only dated a few months but I am ready to date him exclusively.
My worst fear is being rejected by a female and when I do try to talk to the person that I like, my words come out all wrong. People say that a first impression is the most important thing but with me, that is not entirely true.
I’ve met a wonderful man, but I quite simply cannot stand his friends. He is in his late 30s, and these friends have been in his life a long time. It seems that he has changed quite a bit from the “old days,” but they are still beer-drinking, rowdy, party people. The kind of friends I don’t want in my life.
Dear Dr. Warren, I dated a wonderful woman for three years. We had deep-rooted compatibility, great sex, and what felt like real love between us. Since we broke up, I've met some great women on eHarmony, but I can't stop comparing them to my old love.
Dear eHarmony,I am now in the Open Communication stage with some of my matches. It has been about one week since I have communicated and I havent heard anything from my matches since then. How long does it take, on average for matches to respond while in Open Communication? How long should I wait for the response before closing communication?Sincerely,
Jackie in New York City
