This really should be obvious, but if you look at many of the dating profiles out there, it’s not. The good people over at Kibin, a team of professional proofreaders, have done a little research about how bad grammar can hurt you in the dating process. Let this just be a gentle reminder to run that spell check at the very least!
Here’s what they learned:
1. Women care more about good grammar than men.
2. Poor grammar is a turn-off for 43 percent of people.
3. More than 80 percent of online daters publish their profiles without having someone else do a grammar check.
What grammar mistakes have you seen most frequently in dating profiles?
