Daylan -WOW that's a long distance relationship. I'm actually surprised at how quickly you got out of the 'honeymoon' stage where you can't see any faults in the other person because typically, the longer the distance, the more time you have to add onto how long all the different stages (like the 'honeymoon' stage) of a relationship need. Good luck in the rest of the stages! I hope you can see each other very soon :)

This is exactly what happened with me and my S.O (significant other). It's a long distance relationship and we're entering our 4th month on the 26th and it's true that the first 2-3 are like magic. Everything about the S.O is so perfect and you're stricken with so much love that you can barely function (such as eating and whatnot). I even changed my diet because I couldn't eat since I was so lovestruck. We both felt the same until it all came crashing down when she went back to college. Then reality hit me and any faults she had started to show, especially my faults.

All in all, I still love her as much as I did when we were 2 months in, but the magic flame went down alot and hopefully we can make a spark when she comes to visit me hopefully next summer (She lives in Nova Scotia and I live in South Carolina)
