There is nothing wrong with looking good. Looking good will make you feel good and be more confident in what you are doing. I agree with Vernon to an extent that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but does not mean if someone wears Spanx they not being themselves. That to me is just silly

I disagree, ever heard the expression, wat you see is wat you get? Most of the women I’ve seen and met in my experiences wore things like that to make them selves into something they are not and literally take men for anything they could get!!! Wat you see isn’t wat youre getting, so go with not judging a book by its cover! Its misleading to men and women both, I try to date women with a natural sense about them selves that dont need to wear garments that are misleading, no make up etc.I want to see the real you so to speak, all men and women have their own natural beauty! You just have to look beyond the boundries and fine the person you want, there is a mate for everyone in this world, being patient is the key to true long lasting love and when you least expect it, you find wat youre lookn for cause it will fall in youre lap like a ton of bricks!! Thanks to eharmony I’ve found the one ive got now, she’s beautiful inside and out, all natural no make up, no nothing, and were in love! Thanks eharmony!!!! Sincerely Vernon & Lynn

Funny, no one questions the authenticity or honesty of actresses, actors and models. Aren’t their flaws and imperfections covered up on a daily basis? Without airbrushing, makeup, and accentuating garments, most of them are just ordinary, imperfect people like the rest of us. It is about caring about how we look, taking pride, and having self confidence, not about being phony or covering anything up.

I can’t believe that anyone would think that trying to look their best is a problem !! I can’t stand it when I see a heavy set woman with her belly hanging out, or a man who wears a t-shirt too short, and you can see their fat belly !! Wearing appropriate clothing for your body build is just plain smart and considerate.
