New Feature – “Active Within” Tells You When Your Matches Were Last on the Site

Happy Tuesday everyone! I just wanted to let you all know about a new enhancement that we’re making to the match profile – Active Within.

dv229001 300x199 New Feature Active Within Tells You When Your Matches Were Last on the Site

We’ve been told by our customers that one really useful thing to know about a match would be their level of activity on the site. Having this information helps our customers prioritize who to communicate with now versus who to communicate with later. You spoke, we listened.

Very shortly, all eHarmony subscribers will notice, when looking at a match (right next to the match’s name actually), a stamp that shows the approximate time frame when that match was last on the site. You will see last login times broken down into the following increments:

• Today
• Yesterday
• Within the last week
• Within the last two weeks
• Over three weeks ago

As you look at your newly delivered matches, you’ll quickly notice that they are in most cases as “active” as you. Hopefully that’ll give you or your match the confidence to take the next step and start communicating. We look forward to hearing your thoughts on this new enhancement, as well as your overall experience on our service.

this can be a double edged sword . . .four months after becoming physically involved and having “the exclusivity conversation”, it was brought to my attention that my beau was still “Active”. And I don’t mean once in awhile “active”. I mean everyday “active”. I mean, emailing one of my girlfriends who also had a profile and giving her his number “active”. (I found out when I happened to show her a pic of “this great new guy I’m seeing” – a picture of the two of us together no less)

Lucky that this was discovered rather early in the relationship.

    My girlfriend told him off.

    We are no longer together.

Pretty great post. I simply stumbled upon your blog and wanted to mention that I have really enjoyed surfing around your weblog posts. After all I will be subscribing in your feed and I’m hoping you write again very soon!

So, what I’m trying to figure out is whether or not a person has to be an active subscriber (ie, a paying member) of EH to see this “active within” information on other users. I have an EH account, but am no longer a paying member. My exclusive boyfriend of a year CAN see this information, and got mad when I went online to view his profile, as I couldn’t remember what all it said in it. He saw when I was active. Why can he see this information, and I cannot???
