We’re very excited to begin our tenth year of helping people find their soul mates. And for Customer Care, this is a time for reflection, to look back on a year and a decade that have been full of rewards, successes, and fun! For example, here are some interesting facts about Customer Care that you might not know:
- Our staff loves to give! This holiday season alone, our Culture Committee raised hundreds of dollars from our staff members for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. We’ve also done food drives, fun runs for various charities, and so much more.
- Our members love to post photos! In December alone, an average of 24,000 photos were submitted every day!
- In 2009, our Customer Care team received three major industry awards for outstanding customer service.
- Our first Customer Care agent was hired in November 2000—and that was me! Since answering my very first customer email a decade ago, I’ve seen our Customer Care team rapidly grow, change, and expand along with our member base. Now we have a large, dedicated staff of Customer Care agents who handle thousands of emails and phone calls every day.
These are thrilling times to be a part of eHarmony, and eHarmony Customer Care is a wonderful vantage point to observe the happiness great relationships can bring to so many people. I’m sure the next ten years will provide us with plenty of reasons to be proud, as we bring people together to find long-lasting love.

HI!
I just wondered if there are any statistics or research done on how many people are sent to you before one is really one you are interested in and they are with you?
Like are the first 450 just practice ones ?
Just asking…most that are sent to me seem to be nothing like who I’d want to date…and I’m trying to remain very optimistic here as your reputation is good … thanks!
