Dr. Neil Clark Warren - Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Warren is the chairman of the Board of Directors, CEO and a founder of eHarmony.com. Dr. Warren is one of America's best-known experts on mate selection. His experience includes 35 years as a clinical psychologist, counseling thousands of patients on relationship issues, extensive appearances at relationship seminars, and as a relationship expert on many national television and radio programs. Dr. Warren has also written nine books on love, marriage, and emotional health, including the best selling "Finding the Love of Your Life," which has sold nearly one million copies and has been translated into over ten languages. Dr. Warren has an undergraduate degree from Pepperdine University, an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in clinical psychology.
Armen Avedissian - Chief Operating Officer
Armen is responsible for managing the technical, business, operational, marketing, human resources, strategy and organizational cross-functional initiatives and product strategies for eHarmony from the following perspectives: Online and offline multi-channel acquisition marketing, conversion and retention, product management for multiple products, the network engagement marketplace and values, lifecycle email marketing, yield management, creative direction and services, emerging services, partnerships, customer care, risk management and finance. Armen has full P&L responsibility to create shareholder value and competitive advantage through customer targets, user-experience, demand creation, enhancement of lifetime values, varying business models, product marketing, project management and ownership of all organizational key performance metrics and levers. Prior to re-joining eHarmony where he spent more than 6 years, Armen was at MyLife.com and Convertro, and graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles having studied Economics and Business.
Thod Nguyen - Chief Technology Officer
Thod is responsible for overseeing and leading the technical development, operation and growth of eHarmony. Thod previously served as the Chief Technology Officer for MyLife.com where he was responsible for the company-wide technology vision. Prior to joining MyLife, Thod served as the Chief Architect at United Online Inc., whose brands include MyPoints, Classmates, FTD and NetZero. Thod received a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University and resides in Los Angeles with his wife and son.
Paula Croutch - Chief Financial Officer
Paula's responsibilities include working closely in many capacities with the CEO and COO, building accounting teams and developing internal controls, policies and procedures. Paula has over 28 years of Finance and Accounting experience, most recently running her own practice providing consulting services to a variety of clients in the areas of Operations and Finance. Prior to joining eHarmony as CFO, Paula was a trusted advisor and consultant for the company in all areas of Finance for over nine years. From 1984 to 2002, Paula was with the firm Arthur Andersen, where she was a partner for seven years. Paula holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance from California State University, Northridge. She is a member of the American Institute, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Ernst & Young Alumni Board of Directors and is the past Treasurer of the Wise Parent Association of Stephen S. Wise Elementary School and Special Needs Resource Center.
Steve Carter - Vice President, Matching
Dr. Steve Carter was part of the original team that developed the eHarmony business model from research concept to enterprise. As Vice President of Matching, Dr. Carter leads the world-class team of data scientists and engineers responsible for the development, testing, implementation, validation and ongoing improvement of the algorithms and technology which power the eHarmony service. Prior to joining eHarmony, Dr. Carter conducted research on life-span development and complex problem solving at the University of Southern California, where he received his Ph.D. in psychology. Dr. Carter is a native of Northern California, received his BA in psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and currently resides in Pasadena with his lovely wife, twin boys, and two cats.
David Chen - Vice President, Finance and Corporate Development
David manages eHarmony's strategic finance and corporate development functions. Prior to joining eHarmony, he was an investment banker at UBS Investment Bank and Cowen & Co., where he advised clients on equity and debt capital market transactions, M&A and strategic partnerships, totaling over $17.4 billion in deal value. David began his career as a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers helping clients in the technology, media and telecom sectors. David has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Business Administration from UC Berkeley.
Grant Langston – Vice President, Brand Marketing
Grant manages eHarmony's main customer message points - lifecycle marketing, social media, content, customer care and trust and safety. He was on the original team that launched the company in August of 2000. Since then, he has played a critical role building new products, writing extensively on dating and relationships, and speaking to the public about eHarmony's mission and method. Prior to joining eHarmony, Grant worked as a writer, creating TV and radio advertising. Previously, he served as an operations manager for High Level Marketing, a music industry marketing firm. Grant has a B.A. in Political Science from Auburn University.
Arvind Mishra – Vice President, Global Product Management
For over 10 years, Arvind has been building products that millions of customers love and use on a daily basis. As the Vice President of the Product Management team at eHarmony, Arvind leads the efforts to design and execute new and exciting features onsite and on our mobile platforms. Prior to joining eHarmony, Arvind spent five years at Microsoft, where he led product management for key Windows features like the Start Menu, Desktop Search, Media Center and the Aero User Experience. Arvind holds an M.B.A from the Wharton School of Business and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
Dan Erickson – Director, Special Projects
Dan’s responsibilities include playing a critical role in the creation and development of new verticals for the eHarmony relationship business. He also leads a team dedicated to enriching the on-going relationship between eHarmony and the couples who have found success on the site. Dan has over twenty years of business development and marketing experience with organizations such as Tom’s of Maine, Concordia Partners and Brand Partners Group. In his role as Director of Marketing at JobsInTheUS.com, Dan played an instrumental role in the development and eventual successful public sale of that company to what was, at that time, one of the largest publishing groups in the U.S. Dan attended Marquette University where he received a B.A. in History.
Ashley Chisholm – Director, Human Resources
Ashley leads and is responsible for the Human Resources and Facilities functions at eHarmony, with special focus on employee experience, talent acquisition, organizational development and human resources strategy and progression. Ashley joined eHarmony in 2006, and has played an instrumental role in developing HR programs from inception to date to support the objectives of the business and performance management processes. Prior to joining eHarmony, Ashley held HR roles at Bumble Bee Foods and Guardsmark, Inc for numerous years. Ashley attended San Diego State University, where she received a B.A. in Sociology.
Ron Sarian - Vice President, General Counsel
Rated a Top Lawyer in California by The Legal Network, Ron’s 28 years of experience as a business litigator brings a dynamic legal perspective to eHarmony. He has excelled in consumer, privacy, Lanham Act, Sherman Act, False Claims Act, class action, employment, insurance, commercial real estate, and complex contractual and bankruptcy matters. In addition to earning a Martindale “AV Preeminent 5.0 out of 5” rating, Ron has four published opinions in the California Court of Appeals, the United States District Court, and the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. These opinions include pertinent privacy, regulatory and Federal consumer class action issues. Ron has served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at his church and is currently serving on the Corporation Board of his Fraternity at UCLA. An athlete, Ron enjoys motocross, ice hockey, running, snowboarding and riding his Harley. Ron is also an accomplished rock guitarist, although his true love is classical music. He is an avid car buff, having participated in many auto shows and concours events.
